A typical portal layout. Your machine may look different.
Quick answer: how to pause Piso WiFi
Join the Piso WiFi network, open http://10.0.0.1 in your browser and tap Pause Time. Your remaining minutes stay saved on the machine. When you are back, open the same page on the same phone and tap Resume. If you see no Pause button, the owner has turned it off.
What is Piso WiFi and how does it work?
Piso WiFi is a coin-operated internet vending machine used across the Philippines in sari-sari stores, dorms, cafes and waiting areas. You pay a small amount or enter a voucher code and get internet for a limited time. The machine shows a sign-in page called the portal, usually at 10.0.0.1, and counts your paid time down there.
How to connect and pay
- Turn on WiFi and join the Piso WiFi network. Most machines need no password.
- Open http://10.0.0.1 in your browser. Tap Insert Coin on the page before you drop any coin.
- Insert coins or enter a voucher code, then wait for the credit to show.
- Browse, and check your remaining time on the portal whenever you like.
How many minutes does one peso buy? The owner sets the rates, so one machine may give 5 minutes and another 30. Open the rates screen on the portal before you pay.
What is 10.0.0.1?
10.0.0.1 is a private address that only works while your phone is connected to the Piso WiFi network. It opens the machine’s own page, not a website on the internet. That is why it will not load on mobile data or on another WiFi.
- Insert coins
- Enter a voucher code
- See your remaining time
- Pause and resume
- Set rates and vouchers
- Turn Pause Time on
- See connected devices
- Change the admin password
One zero too many, so the page will not open. Type 10.0.0.1 instead.
Find the right address for your machine
Not every machine uses 10.0.0.1. Some vendo software lets owners choose another address, such as 20.0.0.1 or 192.168.11.1. Your phone already knows the right one.
- Android: Settings, Wi-Fi, tap the network name, then read the Gateway line.
- iPhone: Settings, Wi-Fi, tap the (i) beside the network, then read the Router line.
How to pause and resume Piso WiFi time
Pause stops your countdown so you can use the rest of your minutes later. It is a setting the machine owner controls, so it is not on every machine. Read the full Piso WiFi pause time guide.

Steps
- Connect to Piso WiFi and open http://10.0.0.1.
- Tap Pause Time before you leave and wait for the confirmation.
- When you are back, join the same network and open the same page on the same phone.
- Tap Resume to continue with your remaining time.
What can stop pause from working
- Your session belongs to the device that paid. You cannot resume on another phone or laptop.
- Owners set how many times you can pause and how long paused time is kept.
- Do not rely on turning WiFi off. On some machines the timer keeps running until you tap Pause.
- If the Pause button is missing, the owner turned it off, or your browser saved an old page. Try a private tab.
- On iPhone, a rotating Private Wi-Fi Address can make the machine see a new device. Set it to Fixed for this network.
No pause button on the machine?
- Buy a voucher and enter the code only when you are ready. On many machines the timer starts at that moment.
- Pay in small amounts instead of loading a full hour.
- Ask the attendant. The owner can pause a session from the admin page.
Piso WiFi admin login and pause settings for owners
Owners manage rates, vouchers and pause time from the admin page. Only sign in to machines you run.
- Connect a phone or laptop to your own Piso WiFi network.
- Open http://10.0.0.1/admin in the browser.
- Sign in with your admin username and password. Use the details from your vendor or the machine label, not ones you found online.
- Open the menu and go to Portal Settings. Some builds name it slightly differently.
- Turn Pause Time on, set limits if your software offers them, then save.
Do these after you log in
- Change the default admin password.
- Set at least three rates: a small, a medium and a bulk one.
- Tell customers Pause is available, for example with a small sign on the machine.
- Switch Insert Money off if the coin slot jams.
- Remember that menu names differ between LPB, AdoPiSoft and PisoFi.
10.0.0.1 not working?
Most failed logins come from a connection or browser setting, not a broken machine. Try these in order. If nothing works, tell the attendant, because the machine itself may be down.
Join the right network first
The portal only opens while your phone is connected to the Piso WiFi network, not to mobile data or another WiFi.
Type the full address
Use http://10.0.0.1 in the address bar. Typing it in Google or adding an extra zero (10.0.0.0.1) will not work.
Turn off mobile data and VPN
Both can send traffic away from the local network, so the portal never loads.
Set Private DNS to Off or Automatic
On Android, a fixed Private DNS can block sign-in pages. It is under Settings, Network and Internet.
Clear the cache or use a private tab
An old saved page from another machine can hide the Pause button.
Check your gateway address
Open your WiFi details and read the Gateway or Router line. Some machines use a different address.
Which Piso WiFi system does your machine use?
Piso WiFi machines run different software, so screens and settings vary. These are the four you meet most often. Details come from vendor guides and owner documentation and can change between versions.
| System | Portal address | Pause time |
|---|---|---|
| LPB Piso WiFi | Often 10.0.0.1. Some themes use another address. | The owner switches Pause Time on in Portal Settings. |
| AdoPiSoft | 10.0.0.1 by default. Owners can change it, for example to 20.0.0.1 or 192.168.11.1. | The owner sets how many pauses you get and how long paused time is kept. |
| PisoFi | Reported at 10.0.0.1. | Pause sits in the session controls. The owner decides the limits. |
| JuanFi | The address the owner set on the MikroTik hotspot. | Depends on how the operator set it up, so ask them. |
Stay safe on Piso WiFi
Piso WiFi networks are open and the portal is a plain http page. Do not type banking passwords, a GCash MPIN or an OTP into any page you reach through it, and join only the network name posted at the machine.
Router login guides
Find the default IP for your router, then follow the guide to log in, change the Wi-Fi name and password, or reset it. The default IP is a starting point. Your router label shows the exact login details. Running a coin WiFi machine instead? Start with the Piso WiFi 10.0.0.1 admin login guide.
